December 1999, the last month of the millenium.  What will the new
millenium hold for glue?  What will it hold for the ansi scene?  Many expect
the scene to completly dissolve within the next couple years.  For me to ask
what the entire millenium will hold for the ansi scene is probably a bit of an
awkward question.  I'm not so naive to believe that when the calender flips to
3000, kids will still be drawing ansi blocks.  I mean, so much will happen 
in the next 10, let alone 1000 years.  The scene's only been alive for about
10 years.  I for one though, would love to see it last another 10 .. atleast.
Most sceners think that this possibility is even too hard of a feat to 
accomplish.  Maybe I am naive, or even stubborn.  But it's that kind of 
stubborness that'll help the scene last longer than the doubters expect.

The last portion of the millenium has been a great one for glue.  We
went back to our roots and re-established ourselves as a small power.  We 
seem to pick up one artist each month however.  This month, glue welcomes
President to the family.  This guy suprised me with his application, and he
is definately proof that there is new talent out there to help the scene live
on in years to come.  He has one submission this month, due to his dedication
to his now deceased group Ecolove, which released their last pack a couple
of days ago.  R.I.P Ecolove, you guys were great.  I hope you all continue to
draw ansi and help improve the quality of art in the scene.

A lot of people are asking me what's up with Filth and Fever.  Filth
has released a small amount of ansi with glue, and fever still has yet to
release.  However they've both been on the roster for a couple months.  If you
really want to know, I suggest you email them .. but they have told me that theyare glue4life, as have all of the members on our roster.  If they are willing
to offer such dedication to glue, glue will offer it's dedication to them.
I'm not about to turn my back on anyone that hasn't turned their back on glue.

I've heard of a few telnet bbs' that are in the midst of creation.
Prevail is one that a few glue members have drawn for.  Halo.3 is another new
bbs to hit the telnet scene sometime soon.  And Inso is another telnet board
that's in the works.  This is a great sign that people have not forgotten
their roots, and still think of this scene of ours as a fun hobby.  The pay
may not be that great, but atleast we're getting something out of it :)
I suggest that we draw for these boards, and any others that pop up as a sign
of our thanks for keeping things real.

Props to Crimson Skye for the wicked glue font.  I found this on my
harddrive, and hope you don't have a problem with me using it.. especially sinceI havn't seen you around in a coons age.

Anyways, I have so many thoughts about the scene now a days, to write
them all in the glue info file would just become monotonous.  Check the art,
that's what we release for.  Enjoy, and keep an eye out for glue30 at the
end of january.  It'll be a doozy.  Peace.
