%history   %

    Back in October of 1995, Purg Productions; the definitive vision of 
The Reaper and Bossman was started in northwestern Indiana. Originally a  
BBS Modifications group for Renegade, Oblivion2 and Iniquity. Purg transformed
to more of an art-based group. From February, they skipped April due to lack
of art. Aprils pack was a touch better, but Purg really started to fly when
June rolled around. Tang, a logo group run by Mighty Mouse and Tribute, a group
ran by Prince of Darkness, merged with Purg. The release was their best yet.

       About that time, we took a break from the art scene. #5 release was not 
bad comeback, #6 was even better, then with #7, new quality members really
flew in! The High-resoultion department really kicked in!

       In November of 1997, Purg Productions moved on to more of a logo based 
group with Release #8! Starting over with new members, and a new idea
purg!logos has chosen to stick with short graphics.

       Well, between purg #8, and purg #09 The Reaper supposedly ripped an 
ansi which he converted to ascii. Some people were cool with it, and some peoplewere not. The main person - Ironghost, who drew the original ansi, was cool
with it. Panacea of Fire, who had made a small contribution to that
particular ansi had to make a big deal about it. 
 
       When we asked The Reaper about it, he said "I was going for perfection,
and I really liked the work I saw. I just forgot to give credit to Ironghost"
" (Hey, we all forget things) But on other terms, The Reaper quit cia because
the ascii head supposedly back stabbed him. Heres a little bit from the log,

While this was going on, Dark Entity[de] was telling The Reaper that he
beleived him. Something just doesnt seem right here does it? But see, if it
was a rip to begin with, it wasnt Panacea ripped, it was Ironghost, and as
we had said earlier, he was cool with it. He liked it. Well enough of this.

klumzee - uhh thats me..what can I say about myself..hmm..I'm an ascii/ansi
artist, jandor just appointed me the new member/ansi ceo of purg...and uhm..
I'm the dude who's doing the inquest =]. 

zubfatal - he's a new ascii artist, he's pretty good for someone just starting
out, he's a pretty reet little guy. heh..he's from denmark.

XZiP - well what can you say about XZiP..he's a ppe coder..and he's an ascii
artist, he's also from sweden. =]

dark entity - well, we've known this guy for awhile and it seems that him
and tee_are are on talking terms again so we decieded to let him join on
the web team, because i dont think lint can dew it all by himself.

flash - alright, i found this guy in woe and made him try some oldskewl
ascii and well, he's acctually getting a little better. He's what we call
a member in training. We are training him to be goood, get good and possible
move on to other groups. he also does vga, but just not for us :)
