Platoonim, co-founder of Distant, was the first of two to join in the last thirty odd days. His works show great potential, with traits reminiscent of newschool greats such as RZ and The Night Angel. Secondly, we felt great pride and privilege in welcoming Sevenup of Echo fame. Formerly known as Unique Phreak, he has a wonderful style all his own. Though this has been done to death and back, I'd like to state my feelings concerning the ansi medium in general. It's not often that I add a lot of text to my work, so I'd like to take the opportunity here. Ansi, of course, is a form of art like every other in which different methods of production and styles are incorporated. The medium should be appreciated for its simplicity and intimacy. My point being; don't "sell out" to pseudo elitism and unneeded egoism. Draw, have fun, have fun drawing.
