Try to use our viewer and feel better! ž Features - SVGA ANSi viewing - ACiD SAUCE descriptions support - ANSi preview (as icon) - "Next picture" command - Auto-scrolling - iCEColor support ž Requirements - iBM AT compatible system with 386 or better processor - SuperVGA videocard with VESA BiOS Extention - about 400Kb of available convertional memory - Keyboard ž Usage To see an Ansi Pack unpacked in the current directory just type "APV" (w/out quotes!) after DOS' Prompt and press key. if You wanna specify some file mask (wildcards) you can do it by typing "APV " instread of "APV". Example: "APV *.*". By default APV uses mask specified at it's config file. You also can quickly view some ansi if you specify its name instread of mask. Example: "APV SOME.ANS". To view Ansi without quickly (without long and wasting directory scanning) you can just type "APV SOME.ANS /V". In this case you can scan directory later by pressing [*] key. Then you successfully run viewer you can select ANSI to view by [Up], [Down] and [Enter] key. If you trying to see a lot of ANSIs continuously you can use feature ([Ins] key): select first Ansi to view and press [Enter], after viewing this ANSI just press [Ins] key to view next ANSI and so on ([Ins], [Ins], [Ins], ...etc... ;). To scroll ANSI picture use [PageUp] and [PageDown] keys. To view another files instead of Ansi (graphics pictures or something else) you need to specify external viewers by editing apv.cfg file. ž Function keys list Up/Down, Ctrl-Left/Right, Ctrl-Home/End - file selection Enter - view file cursor at or go to selected directory Ins - view next file [*] - change sorting method or scan dir if "just view" mode Escape - leave viewer PageUp/PageDown - Ansi scrolling above/below Home/End - scroll to begin/end of Ansi Space, [+], [-] - switch between SVGA and text modes Backspace, [.], [Del] - show/hide file panel in the text mode. note that file navigation keys are still usable while panel is hidden! Ctrl-Backspace - show/hide status line in the text mode [/], [\] - stop/continue autoscroll ž Command line parameters Pattern: apv [filename.ext] [parameters] Common cases: apv path\ - to explore path apv path\wildcards - to explore path using wildcards apv filename.ext - to autoopen filename.ext apv filename.ext /v - to view filename.ext only Parameters: /viewonly - to view file only (short version: /v) /mode:text and /mode:svga - choose default screen mode (/mt, /ms) /autoscroll:on and /autoscroll:off - enable/disable autoscroll (/a+, a-) /font:def and /font:int - use default or internal apv''s font (/fd, /fi) /? - get quick help Default values will be taken from APV.CFG file located at the same directory as a viewer. ž Known Bugs - Crush w/out 386+ processor - Works ugly w/stupid mouse drivers (like MS Mouse 7.o, AglierMouse, etc) - Works ugly w/crooked videocards - Only first 400 lines is shown ž What's new?
