W a i t i n g T o D i e I woke up this morning and I can not say why After the dream I had last night I was sure that I would die In this dream death came to me wrapped in her embrace I looked her in the eye The look apon her face as she began to cry The warmth I felt with her Turned all my life into a lie Her gaze turned to me and my heart began to fly But she turned and walked away and never stopped to offer a reason why So when I woke this morning I wiped the tears dry So I go on living as we all do... waiting to die.
