My heart and soul,
So empty,
So lonely,
What did I do?
I loved you,
With nothing,
Just my heart and soul,
I trusted you,
To keep them safe,
To protect them,
Yet, you destroyed them,
Believing lies told,
I did not lie,
I gave you
Everything that I was,
My heart,
My soul,
My world,
I ponder
Reasons why?
The only answer
Comes from my lonely, empty heart,
"You loved him."
No other reason,
No logical reason,
I loved him,
With everything,
I was,
I gave him,
All that I had,
My heart,
Now empty and lonely,
Sad and depressed,
My soul,
Lost in dispair,
No longer complete,
Hollow forevermore,
My world,
Nothing left,
Crumbled to the ground,
Nothing survived,
Dead and gone,
My heart and soul,
So empty,
So sad.
