                     -- this is my 
very first chance to write the info for a
 lazarus pack.  as you
may have guessed by now, grind king and i are takin
g turns writing the info
    files.  in fact, grind king is to
tally absent from this months pack.  why?
he is recovering from self-inflicted head wounds.  
get well soon, and put 
those scissors away!!


 -- other stuff happened in lazarus this mon
th.  my keyboard broke.  i couldn't 
use the following keys:

it sucked.  but then i got a new keyboard for free 
from my dear friend 
phantasm.  i love you nick!!


 -- i am happy to say that we have now st
olen members from both ice and acid.

we also made contact with several people 
who would like to be in lazarus but
weren't able to release with us this month, so l
ook for some big new names

 -- we had one handle-change this month. 
 eiht ball is now known by the very
japanese handle of hachi.  my japanese-e
nglish dictionary tells me this 
means "one who is aroused by knitting women"..  
very appropriate.


 -- this month lazarus debuts the
 portrait section of our memberlist.  hope
fullyyou find these 24-line (or less) s
elf-portraits interesting.  so far there
are only three, but expect to see more e
very month.


 -- this month also debuts the first non
-ansi file in our pack!  yes, neophyte
decided to try a rip, so here it is.
  no we don't have a rip division.  so
thbbbpt.


 -- thanks to neophyte for produc
ing so many quality lazarus logos.  i'm 
drowning in them. =)

 -- this month warpus and i founded a number o
f new "scenes".  one of them was 
the pole-avoiding scene, in which we all
 learn how to avoid running into 
poles and then videotape our best avoidances. 
 we even figured out how to
do joints.  look for us on #pole-avoiding
.


 -- along with creating the above "scene", w
arpus has been busy.  this month he
produced a stat-sheet for us all to enjoy (check ou
t LAZ02STT.ANS), yes, an
ansi tutorial! (TUTORIAL.ANS.  duhhh), a
nd even the following ansi facts:


-- 64% of all ansi artists are illit
erate
-- the ratio of rip to ascii artists in 
the scene is exactly pi
-- 19% of all vga artists think that wea
ring diapers to school is "rad"
-- zambia is the only country in the wor
ld which promotes ansi art, claiming
   that it fights acne pimples
 and prevents unusual bucket formations
-- klexikal is (was? :)) the only art gr
oup that is anti-gravitially aware
-- radman = bob dole
-- sinned soul, the coder of aciddraw is
 taking intermediate computer 
   science at the university of waterloo
-- 90% of the inhabitants of #ansi, when
 asked a question usually do not 
   respond.  the other 10% usua
lly do, but as of yet nobody has been able to
   figure out what they're trying to 
say.
-- only 5% of all ansi artists are v
irgins.  the rest claim to have gotten
   laid in #teensex or #dogsex at least 
once.
-- sulphur is a dork
-- warpus


 -- oh, another thing: warpus almost kil
led a man this new years eve.
