With Night Daemon's passing, I've had some strange reactions. It's as if I wish
I could have had one last chance just to chat with him. The chance to bring
closure to a friendship that ended abruptly and unforewarned. I keep thinking
I'll have the chance, as strange  as this must seem, to talk to him about his
suicide, and about his own death. I don't know why, but I can't get it out of
my head.

I'm not going to be fashionably sensitive here, and throw up a big sob story.
I'm not in tears. It won't affect my life. But, it did shock me and upset me
to an extent. Someone who shared a hobby of mine, computers, and the "scene"
in general, took his own life today.

I've never understood suicide, but obviously only desperate times could
