 fittingly, blender#30 was a crazy event.  i
t broke blender records all over 
 the place, from submissions, to the number of people i
nvolved.  one team 
 became impromptu suicide counsellors (see mist tea
m #3's entry for more), 
 which some idiotic IRCop bugged me about.  another idi
ot, called DoMeR tried 
 to take the channel and did succeed in floo
ding me off once.  the last part
 of the festivities were held in #blender2 a
s a result.

 despite all this insanity (or perhaps because of it), 
everyone had a great
