S ome people cried  conspiracy, some people called it justice. To be honest I dont know what to  say about the awards. I myself didn't win anything and a t first I was a lil'  miffed, but then I really didn't care.   Yes, some people deserved awards that didn't get a ny: Pnakotic,   Hannibal Lecter, Marshall Law, etc.  Then again, maybe if they were still   drawing these last few months they might have won. The b ottom line is this   his how you people voted.   I mean, yes, I admit I voted for myself 50,000 tim es under different   iraqI alias to win best logo artist. :) I guess frac ca ught on around   47,586.. Overall, I think with some more planning a wards 97 could be alot   better alot fairer and alot more organized. The n ick changing was gay, and   that really annoyed me and many others. I also think may be, people who were   not on irc could have gotten some awards, but what can yo u do. I'm not about  to start telling fractal to go into hiding.   I think the new ansi artist award was probably the  best of all of   them. I mean Misfit, Trip, Flame, Defiant, these guys really rock. I'm glad   they got some recognition. So in a sense you could say a wards gives everyone  a chance to win something - if you are recognized as at l east being good, not  a ansi god. MAESTRO rocks and so does  queerie.
