It seems that  пллллн пВмпп ВБА Б АБВлппмВп some people have been coming down quite олллл  пВВммм А мммВВп hard on me lately, so I decided that I'd лллл ппплВмБВппп write this file in the hopes that it will лллл АА clear everything up.лллл ББАА  лллл  ВВББ I'm sure you've all heard the rumors that I quit лллл ллВВ Septic in order to join iCE. While this is partially лллл  лллл true, there are some extenuating circumstances that I ВВлл   лллл feel I should add, so I'll take it right from the ББВВ лллл beginning: ААББ лллл  АА лллл Unfortunately, I don't own a computer of my own, so I АА  лллл am forced to do all of my ansi-drawing and group-type ББАА лллл stuff on my parents' computer.  While most of you are ВВББ лллл thinking 'So? Most of us use our parents computers.' ллВВ лллл there is a bit more to the story. My main problem is ВВлл лллл that I don't -live- with my parents. I don't even ББВВ лллл live in the same county they do. This means that I ААББ лллл only get to see the computer on the weekends.  ллАА лллл  лллл лллл When I first started Septic, I thought that I could лллл лллл run the group and do my ansis regardless of the very лллл лллл limited amount of time I'd have each month.   I was лллл лллл wrong. Since my ansi comes first, my organizing and лллл лллл releasing of packs and such started to slide. I never лллл лллл had the info files ready and the packs were released лллл лллл late. Some of the members started mentioning that лллл лллл they were interested in joining other groups and I лллл лллл was so swamped in dist apps, that I could barely лллл лллл breathe. This was all so overwhelming that I decided лллл лллл that the best option would be to disband Septic until лллл лллл I could get myself a computer, at which time I would лллл лллл restart the group and take up where I had left off. лллл лллл  лллл лллл I decided that since Septic was gonna die, I would лллл лллл try to fulfill one of the dreams I've had since I лллл лллл started drawing: joining iCE. I put an application лллл лллл together and had Tetanus send it in for me. It all лллл лллл seemed to be working so well, and I was so excited лллл лллл at the idea of joining iCE that I didn't even think лллл лллл about the guys that I had worked so hard to bring лллл лллл together. They were not at all happy about the way лллл лллл things seemed to be going. After all, some of them лллл лллл were about to lose the only real group they'd ever лллл лллл been a part of. Hennifer and Warpus decided that if лллл лллл it was the only way to keep Septic alive, they'd take лллл лллл over the working of the group. Still caught up in the лллл лллл excitement of the moment, I couldn't imagine why they лллл лллл would want to do that, so I became stubborn. They лллл лллл kept pressing until I finally relented and said that лллл лллл they could take over. лллл лллл  лллл лллл With that pressure off my shoulders I tuned them out лллл лллл and sat biting my fingernails  for the next week, лллл лллл looking forward to friday so that I could rush home лллл лллл and find out whether or not I had been accepted into лллл лллл iCE. That was probably the single longest week of my лллл лллл life. Finally friday rolled around and I logged on to лллл лллл Tremor, fully expecting that after that call I would лллл лллл be able to add those 3 little letters that mean so лллл лллл much in the ansi scene to my sig.   What I got was a лллл лллл message saying 'We're not sure about accepting you so лллл лллл do another ansi for us to judge and then we'll decide лллл лллл if you get in.' I'm still not sure exactly why, but лллл лллл that message hit me like a slap in the face. Once I лллл лллл realized the significance of that message, I began to лллл лллл get annoyed. I couldn't imagine what possessed me to лллл лллл want to join a group that would consider my work less лллл лллл than acceptable. That was a possibility I didn't even лллл лллл consider. I assumed I would either get a resounding лллл лллл yes or a resounding no. Either way I would have known лллл лллл exactly where I stood. Instead, I got dumped head- лллл лллл first into a gray area.  лллл лллл  лллл ААлл To be quite honest about the whole thing, I worked лллл ББАА extremely hard on that ansi for a couple of days. лллл ВВББ After that though I realized that I had lost most of лллл ллВВ the respect that I had towards iCE. I found that лллл ВВлл while I still hold them in high esteem, I no longer лллл ББВВ wanted to be a part of them.  It was then that I лллл ААББ realized exactly where it was that I belonged. лллл  АА  лллл АА  And so, I wrote up a note explaining that they should лллл ББАА disregard my app, and had Tetanus send it in to iCE.  лллл ВВББлллл ллВВ I have since reclaimed the sig that I believe I will лллл лллл use with far more pride than one ending with iCE. лллл лллл That sig being:Wyvern [Septic].лллл лллллллл лллл Such ends my story.
