ÛpÛ lain news for 09-96 - Plain's turns one year old next month. In commemo ration of the momentous event, I had wished to issue an official plai n T-shirt with a plain logo on it. However, this fell apart when the sweat shop workers I'd paid a nice, shiny penny a day were di scovered, and I had to leave the country for a week for it to blo w over. I realised, making a profit of such an occasion was wrong , and, in my infinite compassion, you can have your very own plai n t-shirt by taking a marker and drawing " plain " on a shirt. - Plain worked hard this month. Or something, I really should be more attentive when I volunteer to write an info file. - Plain is hard at work with its new ROBOT divi sion. It was sort of an inside secret that the very reason why Plain is s o good is because 75% percent of its members are robots, or are i n cahoots with other robots. I'm not at liberty to say who, but l et's just say that it's best to stay clear of the metal ones. - Also, not content with toon domination, watOr is now the world champion at break dacing, which went out of fashion in the later part of the 1980's. when asked by a German tabloid rep orter why he'd partake in such an event wO said " It beats the he ll out of the alternative; endurance masturbation! " - This is watOr speaking before I get totally shut out here, this month was a weird twist with the beginning of schoo l and all, and people finishing up their vacations, so the pack w asn't all that it could have been. Ûn  ew members A fair amount of people have wound up in Plain this  month, which  increases the member listing again. In alphabetical order, from s0ap and other previous affils Black Knight is added to the ascii division. Next artist is one artist that has made a nam e for him- self lately, and comes straight from our own local code, iz Loser The next person I kept getting mixed up with Narcos is, but it was yet another artist, an ascii artist. And we are pro ud to have him aboard. We welcome Narc. Jeepee scouts yet  another upcoming art- ist, and he goes by the name Rim Shaker, and we  are hoping to see his skills in the anniversary package. Lastly we h ave Sammael, a  artist in whom I adore (his work), and we welcome  him to the ansi division. ÛrÛ eturn of.. . Loser was one of the returning artists this month t o plain and we cannot forget the return of Mr. Gnu. Was o ut of the scene for a while, but is now back and we are glad to have him.
