ok, this step includes 2 things.. rounding and shading .. for the rounding.. i
always use, .,aS$ or even sometimes .,a@S$ .. and also `ýS$$ .. also, to round  up the sides a little, you can use that Pd trick i use as seen above.. shading 
is very simple with ascii. the basic shading order i do things is .;ilS$$  ..

coloring is very easy, but colors such as brown  and yellow can get  much more  difficult ..  i like to highlight  colors on the top and bottom as you can see 
here ..

an important aspect to any logo is a backround, it helps it out alot.. in this
type of ascii,you would wanna do the backround a different color than the font
.. and if you want do what i did, make the backround  two   blending colors ..
