°°²°²  ²±° Ý te±²°±Ü°°²°°²Ü  ±°Ü ßþÜ°ÜÜÜ ßß ßþÜÛÛÛ± ÜÜßßß ÜÜþßÛ°°°ÛÜ þ Þ²ÞÝhal  °ÛÞ ßßßß ß°²²²²ÞÛÛ±ÛÛß°²Üß°°²Þ°ÜÜ Ü°²°ßßß  °ÛÞ °Û±± °²²ÞÜÜÜÜÜÜ°²ß²²ßßßß°²  °ÛÞÛ°°Ý±±±ÝÞ±±°°ÛßßßßßÜÜÜÜÜ °²Þ²Ý  ßßßßÛÛ°°²ÛÜÞ²²±±°ÜÜÜÜÜÜßß²Ü°Ü ÜÜ°ß ßþþÞ±²²°ßß²²  ²±° °°ÜþßßÝÛÛÝÛÛ ßßßßßßßßßßßßßÛ°²Ý Üßß°°²Ü ß°²  ±°Þ þÜÜÛÛ ±²Ý ±Ü Û°Ý ÜþÞÛ °²°°ÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜ Üþß þÜ ß²  °ÛÞ Ý ÜÜ°±°ÜÜþßßßß ±°Ý ÜÝ Û°ÝÜþßÞÛ² ²ÜÜÜ  °ÛÞ Ý Ý°±±Üþß°°ß°±°ÜÝßß²² ß  ßßßÜ ßÛ°°°ÛÛ²° ßßß²Ý °² Þ²ßß °±±±±±ÛÜÜÜ°° °°²ß þß °°°°°²°² °² - i babble! -  this has probably been one of the most strange and confusing months in fire's history. our problems began in ernest when i disappeared for two weeks at the end of the school year. we still managed to get a good pack out (06/96), but some of the group's members got accidentally jilted. i apologize personally and sincerely to jeepee and the extremist for this accidental treatment. back to this month: i've been working, having fun, etc and therefore kinda decided to leave the group to it's own for a little while at the beginning of the month. big mistake. :) when i did start being dragged back in (thanks to surreal logic, maxwell and some others) i found that half the group had 'departed' in panic and that numerous talk was floating around about the group being dead. *sigh* well to start off, we're not dead yet. :) we're not going to be dead far a damn long while if i can help it... there's still a lot more to be done in my own personal plan for world domination. :) in any case, to make a long boring story short, in order to revitalize the group, i cooked up a new 'constitution,' which has been capped and explained in great detail by surreal logic. any member who wants this new charter can get it from good old nick. you outsiders can keep on wondering how and where fire gets it's slick-ass moves. :) the group has been devided into several main teams. this is to serve several purposes. the first being internal competition. one of fire's premises has always been self-improvement, and the different fire teams provide an excellent medium for a little friendly pride and shit-talking to help spur things onward. the second reason for this split is also quite simple: fire is getting huge. unlike radman :), i don't think i have the time or ability to run this in its entirety anymore, so i'm handing at least part of the reigns to some other studs. all the teams have their own memberlists and the team leaders are as follows: ansi team = halaster hi-rez team = surreal logic ascii team = blatz coding team = lord cracker  music team = silicon several old senior staffers have been promoted or moved to new positions. fractal, here, who has been a stalwart and integral member of fire for some time, is one such member... but i'll let him explain that. - friggity friggity frak!! -  Ü ßßÛ² Û²  ey people. Just saying my 2 cents for the Fire info file  ÞÛÛß²±°ß  here :>. Well this month should certainly be one of our   Û² ±° Ý best packs if not our best. A number of members dropped   ßß out on us this month, but it definitely hasn't affected  the quality of this pack. We've got a new 'constitution' which should help us out all the more. Just for the record, I'm not running Fire Ascii anymore so give your ascii applications and work to Blatz the new ascii division coordinator, not me!@ :>.   I told everyone last month that I was going to totally quit making ascii art but I've decided to keep on drawing a bit of it, but not at all as much as before. I'm concentrating on my ansi career as of now. Look for one or two ansi pics by me next month along with another logo colly :>. Doh. :> - fractal(fire public relations) ^^^ new k-rad position :> - i babble! -  the following is an account of the goings on in fire ascii for the past month, delivered concisely by my old punky pal, blatz. - bl4tz! - Alot has happened in the ascii devision of Fire this month. Fractal decide to make ansi his first priority and give the ascii division to me (Blatz). He will still be giving us a few asciis every now and then i understand. We gaine quite a few members this month as well. Coming to us from Blur, Trank, Basic, and a slew of others is EXULTED. His logos are amazing and we're glad hes here Also joining is SMOKEY from Plain and Eclipse. Im not sure wether we will get anything from him because i have heard that he had to quit the scene due to a large phone bill. But i think we may get his last few asciis before he goes. Also coming from Plain is THE EMPEROR. He does really good 25 liners but im not sure if he'll have anything in this pack because he just joined. Another person who just joined in the last week is CREEPING DEATH. He comes from Oil and Soap (I think). His pics are amazing, that's prolly why kHz loves him so much =). The final new member coming from Oil, Mop, and Toxic is ABNORMAL. He is one of the best new comers I have seen in a long while. Leaving this month is ECONOCHRIST. I understand he is joining up with Eerie's new group, bu he might have a few last asciis for Fire. Im not sure if he'll be giving us anything yet. I wish him luck in the future. The mighty Fire HiRez Division, new as it may be, has undergone some massive changes this month. First off, a big wet kiss to God Among Lice (who's currently on vacation; check out the great pic he left us before he went off to south-east Uganda). Good ol' Licey gracefully gave up his position as Fire VGA Coordinator when Fire President Halaster revamped the group. He still remains a faithful flamer, unlike ex-Fire RIP Coodinator Shaolin, who has (sadly) departed for ACiD; he will be missed. Resident Fire Anime-master Winbee also departs this month, this time for mOp. A big thanks to 'bee, who left us some great artwork before moving on. New members this month include pSionide. No one else! ... pSi is a versatile artist whose work extends into both the ANSI and VGA fields; from his artwork this pack, he already looks to be a great addition to our slimlined Fire HiRez Crew. Oh, and as a side note: to any of you who haven't quite grasped what the Fire HiRez Division is comprised of, here's a little recap. VGA and RIP, in addition to any other media which fall through the cracks of the scene, such as IDF or ADF, are the main foundation of the new HiRez Division (which can most likely be determined from the division name ;).
