Shocked into reality
By a razor-edged truth
I lie, breathless,
Awaiting another attack
On my fragile heart

But however strong
The pain, however unbearable
The truth,
I cannot succumb

I have vowed to
Find true love
And I shall not fail
For this is but a
Test of my heart

I know my search
Has come to a
Long awaited end
And nothing can
Tear me away

Patience is my virtue
And though the road
On which I travel
May be rough

At the end
There lies happiness
Beyond my imagination
