Ã-His radio

    No connection to the outside world.  Except for his friend.  His friend
    has no flesh, no mouth, no eyes, no mind, but it tells him all what is
    happening outside.  It tells him the next murder, it tells him the next
    plague.  It tells him all, he needs not to step outside to find that the
    world is a place not to be explored further.  He can tell his friend when
    to stop telling him about the world.  He can tell his friend when to start
    telling him about the world.  He can not get a response from the friend
    and it doesn't give him love, but it tells him all.  Like it can be in
    a million places at once, and tell him what happens in every single one.
    What fools!  No one else sees this friend as he sees it.  If they all knew
    what he knew, they would be as enlightened as him.  Everyone in the world
    must be ignorant, not wanting to admit this friend is the connection to
    life, death, disaster, plagues, stories, anything he wants is there.  He
    has the knowledge of one hundred men, and he gets it in less than an hour.
    Yes, they are fools, and he will not share his friend with anyone. He will
    not tell one person, this will be taken to his grave.  It is for him to
    know and only him.  He will keep his friend with him for life, and die a
    man that was given the greatest knowledge.  Maybe he will turn it on now
    and see what is happening?  What is this?  A new murder, a new invention,
    a new disease and it's cure, everything is new information, and in a few
    minutes, he has something that the whole world will take years to figure
    out.  He has enough information for now, and then proceeds to turn to
    knob to 'off' on his radio.
