I won't � � bother going into alot of bac kground on the Quad-P in this file, as� � Moda l's "History of the P" (QUADP.HIS) has been included in the zip. � � Speaking as Senior Staff, the P has some plans  for the future including � � a Viewer (being co ded by Fiend) and a VGA Comic (hand drawn by Lector). �  �� � Decemeber has gone by pretty fast for all  of us here. We finialized a� � merger with mos t of the members of SKAViD (of East-coast Canada Fame), �  � and would have had alot more of their work featured in th is release but � � due to a couple complications  it didn't happen.. look for it next month. � � W e took in more members from the 306, most of them new to the scene bu t � � possesing some great raw talent. A merger  with TiC fell through after a � � promising round of talks with several members. The end result is  we all � � wish Treason would wake up, and we all despise Genghis. Group wa rs are � � such fun. ;)� �� � In the land of Member News a few things should be pointed out. X yperwulv � � (previously of GRIP/AD and TIC) changed his alias to WiteShado.  Ebony� � started a group war with TIC . ShadowSorcerer (previously  of� � EMPIRE) joined us as our US Cooridinator and then decided to lea ve the � � scene.. we were saddened to hear of his decision, but wish him t he best � � in the future, and will continue to release any art he decides t o� � produce. Sparr (of ACID fame) has joined us (*go figure*), but I  welcome � � him and hope to see something from him next month. We also welco me� � Bullapulooza (previously of GRIND) and we more than happy to re- release � � some of his pics from the 11/94 GRIND Pack.. he's got on wickedl y evil � � style, and I look forward to seeing more. And lastly Rebel Lord  (founder � � of WWAD) joined us to help kick the shit. As I said.. it's been  one hell � � of a busy month..� �� � Most of us are regular IRC junkies, and can be found in #ansi or  the new � � and improved #scene channel. Our local University Server is down  for� � some tweaking this week however, so the pack might not get that  wide of � � a distribution until later on in the month.. most of us are tapp ed out � � of LD for this month ("CaRdZ! vMbZ! Just gimme!") but I'll try t o make � � sure this ends up on Harvest Moon on the 1st at the very least. � �� � Like most groups we have a home network, XTCNet. The net is run  by� � Trickster and so far only extends through the 306 and 403. If yo u are� � interested in becoming a Dist Site we'd recommend you look at th e net, � � but it's on no way manditory. We also frequent ScreamNet, Twingl eNet,� � and SPAMNet.� �� � Our World HQ is my bbs, ModemLand(tm). The number is in the bbs  list and � � other places by the NUP is not. The app is outputted to a file called xx-S KVD.SIT, � � please rename it to xx-QUAD.SIT (those silly SKAVID boys.. =]). � �� � All executables in the Period originated VIRUS FREE from my comp uter and � � were scanned with TBAV, NAV, and F-PROT before release and then  zipped � � with PkZip AV.. if this archive fails AV on any .EXE then it has  likely � � been tampered with and we do not reccomend you run it. There has  been a � � recent outbreak of ansi packs being infected with the Whisper an d other � � viruses. We will always do our best to insure one does not come  from our � � Period.� �� � If you haven't figured it out by now, I'll sum up just what the  'P is� � all about. When Modal and I decided to take our little 306 group  and� � go national with it we agreed to stick to who we were. We will r elease � � any artwork, music, or literature in any form that we feel has a ny� � merit or obvious work put into it. We will welcome almost anyone  as a� � member for as long as they wish to remain one and still produce  something � � in a reasonable amount of time. There are no screen quotas here,  and� � there will never be any bad blood.
