It took about 1-2 weeks to make visions, working ° 1-2 hours a day after school. ° ± ° þ Visions IS almost entirely running in text mode !! ° ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ The only bits that do not are the "VGA Scroller" and "VGA Dump" display modes which run in mode 13h. Everything else, and I mean EVERYTHING ELSE, runs in text mode 3. When you see the first screen with the multicoloured highlight bar, it does not look like it because there's more than 16 colours on the screen. Actually, it is just a very clever bit of programming which ° means that you can have many more colours like that but IT IS STILL IN TEXT MODE. All of this also applies to all the pixel- ° by-pixel scrolling which you may have seen in Acidview or ° other loaders around the place, Acid coders will tell you that ± ² it IS IN TEXT MODE.
