ÛÛ Ý pain in the rear, nyet? Sooo what's up now?    Ý Ý Ý -Ä-úþúÄ-ÄÝ Member Changes   ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ We've got a few new members this time. Starting in the ansi department, we've had Flick join up. You've seen him in DiE,  iCE, Union, Teklordz and Shiver, well - he's back in oz groups  at last, joining both AV & Force. Guess we'll just have to share  him round }8-) Anyway, check out his work in this pack, and  you'll see that its true - no one draws a bong quite like Flick. Over to the music department. So far we've had a pretty weak  music department, but we're working on it. This pack we're joined  by Black Fox and Apollyon in the music department, both local  talent who're pretty decent with a trecker. You may have seen  Black Fox in 'Gumby is a Trip' and 'Ren & Stimpy' well surprise surprise, he writes good normal music too. Apollyon on the other hand is completely new to it, but definately enthusiastic and has a definately unique style.  On the down side, we've had 2 members leave due to inactivity.  Slayer (Music) and Digital Dogg (VGA) are off the member list cos  I haven't heard from them. Guys, if you're out there - mail me! Last minute news - Jock, the coder responsible for Visions and  the AV application generator just decided to join. Greetings - I'm  sure we'll find him plenty of stuff to do }8-) -Ä-úþúÄ-Ä Madness Network & Distro Sites  ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ At the moment, we're working on setting up a dedicated art/demo  mail net going, called Madness Network (you'll see a couple of  ansi's for it in the pack). Madness Network will be purely art  and demo related and will act as the AV home network. Any board  which is connected Madness Network will be an AV distro, with the  headquarters for a state/country being the host node. Boards which don't get Madness Network are not AV distro sites. The only  exception to this will be member boards, which are welcome to  pick it up but don't have to.   We're still working out the details for the net at the moment,  anyone who wants to pick up the net and become a distro site is  welcome to get in touch with us and we'll fill you in as we go  along. Madness Network will get off the ground at the same time  as DreamState goes up, which gets me to my next point... -Ä-úþúÄ-Ä DreamState ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ Yes, it's still closed to the public. However not for long. I'm  just finishing up completely overcustomising PCB now, the 'pooters  sitting here ready to go, the 28k8 modem'll be here as soon as I  organise to pick it up and i'll have the gig harddrive in under a month. Therefore DreamState is currently running as a part time  private system, awaiting the last of its addon's before I take it  full time, probably within the next month. I was chatting to Apollyon on the phone the other day, and he  commented that we'd never said jack about the group, who we are and where we come from... I opened my mouth to tell him he was  full of it, and then i realised he was right.   So who are we? Where are we from? How did we get here? Well, being an organised person, i'll start by answering the  second question. Where are we from? We're from Melbourne,  Australia. Grab yer globe and spin it round to the square between  latitude 30 & 40, and longnitude 140 and 150. See the funny little  circle marked Melbourne? Thats where we is. Most liveable city in  the world (according to some vote they had a while back), and the  nicest joint down here in Terra Australis...   OK, now back to question 1... Who are we? Well, we're a bunch of  Australians who got sick of just looking at all the great american  groups, and dead Australian groups. At the time we were formed,  there were NO other live groups in Oz. DiE was dead, and nothing  had showed up to replace them. Well, at the time we had no clue,  but we've got staying power and we're still here 5 packs and  several months later. Until Flick joined, all our artists had  only started drawing when AV formed so what you're viewing now is  the 5th pack that the majority of us have ever been in in our  lives. Not bad for beginners, nyet? }8-) OK, 3rd question. How'd we get here? Well, if you want the full  story go and drag up all the old packs from somewhere. I think  Bloodlust and Golconda have all of them. But the basic story is  we started with clueless, and we worked on our art, and this is  where we've got so far. We reckon we're beginning to get up to a  decent level (well... we're good enough that we don't embarass  ourselves }8-) ), so we're gonna try our hand at spreading... if  you've got this and this is the first you've heard of us.
