Paradise Lost - By: Orpheus --------------------------- There was a time when all was well, When man chose not to go to hell. They listened to the simpleness of rules, Before the creation of their infernal tools. He warned them of their ill ways, But man chose to stray away. They left Him with no other choice, Than to strangle out their dark rejoice. He had warned them of the consequence But their time had come, a long time; hence. He was forced to use his godly strength, To teach them of their sins length. He unleashed the fiery wrath of hell, To show man that he wasn't all tell. Humankind suffered well, that day, Innocence was the fine they had to pay. Their true death was the deathly cost The bare realization of a Paradise Lost... -------------------------------------- Written on Thursday, August 17th, 1995 (A tribute to the genius of J. Milton)
