Bell Labs Ok folks, as one of the members of AAA, I felt that I wasn't doing as much as I could for the group. Sure, I put some stuff together, but nothing really solid. So, I figured that I could let a few of the things I have learned by wandering the halls of AT&T find its way out. First of all, I'm gonna let you all know right now that AT&T Bell Labs has it's own extension, area code (908), extension 582. Now I haven't gone through the entire thing with my dialer as of yet, but I am sure you will get at least more than 1,000 connects, on both PC's and Sun workstations. Second, there are a million easy ways to get into Bell Labs undetected, but the best way to get in you would never think of. All you have to do is get there around 3:00-3:15pm, and bring a backpack with maybe a book or two in it. Get to the main door, the front door of the big pyramid building, and walk right past security without giving them a second look. If you look like you might work there, they won't even ask about you. Once you're in, security is non-existent, and during the summer there are a million college interns, so a kid wandering the hallways is absolutely normal. First, some numbres inside the building you can call to really cause some chaos: ext. 3131: Building Security ext. 3151: Fire Emergency ext. 3141: Medical Emergency Now, the directions to the Chemical Stockroom. From the Main entrance, go directly ahead to the elevators, and go to the fourth floor. After you exit them, make a left, and then a right, down a long hallway. When you get to a break in the hallway, make a right (where the brick wall is). Go past the bank of elevators, and straight ahead into a long, narrow hallway with a bunch of chemical shower things hanging down. Go down this hallway until you reach the first set of stairs on the right, I believe it's stairway 6. Go up a flight of stairs, and make a left as you exit onto the fifth floor. If you can see a bunch of vending machines, you've done this right. If not, you screwed up somewhere. Ask somebody where the vending machines are, and you should be able to get there. Now, right past the vending machines is the stockroom. There is a little sign hanging down, showing where it is. Just walk right in, and take what you want. Also, a what would a trip to AT&T be without a little phreaking? Any phone from within Bell Labs gets on outside line by pressing 9 first. Make a free call to anywhere in the world, Ma Bell is picking up the tab. You'd think they would take better care of their calling card numbers. Here's a few to tide you over until you download the text file full of them. These are NOT generated numbers. These are REAL numbers, in use by people from the Jacksonville, Florida area. These numbers have NEVER been used. Keep in mind the good people who brought these numbers to you as you use them. 844-025-9296-7074 858-034-8094-2275 635-164-9019-7577 508-179-3964-6785 867-134-6913-9108 Those should keep you busy for a while. If you enjoy what you can do with the above numbers, make sure you download ATTCARDS.ZIP from your nearest AAA distro. Well, the next time you see my name, it'll be after you run some AAA program, but keep in mind who's on your side, going behind Ma Bell's lines, and giving you any information they would rather you didn't know. -AAA '94
