Union has the overwhelming ability to sail through the° month virtually unnoticed by many of the art appreciators in theÞÛ Ý global computer environment. However, this striking force of die-hard ÞÛÛÝ professionals ceases to amaze me at the turn of a new month. Once°°Ý again I bring you, the Union Compendium for August 1994.±ÛÛÛIn an effort to conform to their original motives, Union hasÞÛ°streamlined their acceptance process to allow the best group of artists ÞÛÛÝ to be formed. The "power trip" of the ever egotistical group giant has ÞÛÛ attempted to lift its head within Union and each time the members tryÛÛÝ to remind themselves that egos are not wanted here. °ÛÝÛ°ÝJoining Union this month are several talented individuals,ÞÛÛÝ hopefully with no underlying ego motives, although only time will tell. ÛÛÝ In a second attempt merger with Visual Insanity, a few of our dedicated ÞÛ°followers may remember the fall out the last merger had, Union hasÞÛÛÝ acquired six new ansi artists. Peak Velocity, #28, God Speed,ÞÛÛ Thadicus, Terminal Psychosis, and Prometheus all brought theirÞ °ÛÝ support to Union. A long lost Tribe member teams up with Union thisÛÛÝ month, we welcome Aerosol to Union's ansi department. Other additions ÞÛÛ this month into the ansi camp are Juice (formerly of CMOS), Bishop,ÞÛÛÝ Zoro, and Splint from Breed has joined Union on a trial basis.ÞÛÛÞÛ°ÝWhile trying not to let our ansi department to out number the rest ÞÛ of the group, Union has gathered a few more members to its VGA/RIP ° department. Reefer has joined us as a dedicated RIP artist, whileÞÛ Ý Formic Acid (from Manifest) and Mole Brain have enlisted as VGA artists. ÞÛÛÛÛOn a side note, Union's music department has elected *not* to put ÞÛ°any more music into the Union packs due to size restrictions. In anÞÛÛÝ effort to be the best group and not the largest pack group, Union has ÞÛÛ attempted to follow suit of other great music groups and distribute aÛÛÝ "music disk" once there is sufficent amounts of quality music sure to °ÛÝ but some zing back into that lifeless sound card of yours. While in ±°Ý the music deparment, I shall mention a new arrival, Lord Pegasus,ÞÛÛÝ formerly of Relic.ÛÛÝÞÛ°I would especially like to welcome our new couriers this month.ÞÛÛÝ Maniac and StarDust join the list of members that make the computerÞÛÛ groups in this world go 'round. Without the couriers, none of theÞ °ÛÝ groups would have life. I'd like all the "big heads" out there inÛÛÝ *every* group to remember that. While praising the hell out of theÞÛÛ couriers, I'd like to remind those who want to make it a full-timeÞÛÛÝ job, there is life outside of your terminal program.ÞÛÛÞÛÛßAnd in other departments this month, Fantom joins in to assist inÛ°Ý coding and Mr. Sinister and Mr. Dawson join in the (hopefully) helpful ÞÛ telecom division. Lord Exile is onÞÛ°vacation until September, but since he too was a close friend ofÞÛÛÝ Marshmellow Hex, Union assumes that he will want to be released fromÞÛÛ the couriering department.Þ °ÛÝÛÛÝIn other miscellaneous news, Shadow Hawk actually did something to ÞÛÛ support his group this month. Shadow Hawk has decided to take up modeling as well where heÞÛ°Ý will be the first choice to wear all the latest Paris fashions in aÞÛ stunning black shade. ° ÞÛ ÝTaz has been promoted to Union's courier coordinator. HopefullyÞÛÛ with someone constantly monitoring our couriers, the department willÛÛ move in a more organized fashion. Taz is currently entertaining theÞÛ°thoughts of accepting more couriers, so if you or anyother interested ÞÛÛÝ party feels that they have some dedicated time to offer Union, don'tÞÛÛ hesitate to apply.
