"Darkness"

I'm floating away and I feel lost
Trying to get back no matter the cost.

I'm in such a frenzy as I never knew
Whipping and lashing but I have no clue.

Where have I been?  Where am I going?
It doesn't matter there's no good in knowing.

The blackness is thick and closing around me
Oh please oh god I cannot see!

Hold my hand and pull me through.
But you let me go as I knew you would.
