    After many months of planning, programming, testing, and add
ing newfeatures, our eagerly awaited viewer is ready for releas
e to the public.
We intend MULTI-VIEW to be a facility in which all of our monthly pack
releases can simply and efficiently be viewed.

    MULTI-VIEW was originally intended as an enhanced version of K-Vi
ew.
Later, we realized that it had far surpassed it's predecessor, warranting
a new name.  XV was written in 100% C from scratch, excluding the SVGA
routines (Jordan Hargraphix) and the GIF routines (Kyle Powell). Some of 
the
ANSI conversion code, in addition, was based on Watchman's KV code.

    Although we have found our program to be bug free among us who 
have
been playing with this code, since, let's see.. December.. we are sure th
at
you will come across some things that we have missed.. We also regret hav
ing
to leave out some other functions such as full mouse support and animatio
n
mode due to singificant bugs as of this time.. expect these functions to 
be
available in the next update of the viewer as well as full support for .R
IP
and .EXE files
