dont look up, and keep on that hat
that prodigal sun is blazing again
they say its the greenhouse effect
but who gives a shit?
all I know is that im hot as hell!

hottest summer in a loooooong time
might as well stay indoors
little kids complaining about the heat
dumb morons shouldnt be on the street!
why does the sun, have to be so prodigal?

... another summer just passed by
just cant help and wonder why
what if they were right about the greenhouse stuff
even staying indoors is becoming tough

ill have to put up with that prodigal sun
i guess mother nature has always won
