I Pledge....


I used to find comfort in the thought of freedom
Until the truth was revealed
The facade they place to make us believe them
is something not meant to be real

"Freedom of speech" they proclaim to the masses
Pleading its "truth" to us all
What makes us think that we are such asses
It's time for the power to fall

Contemplation is what makes men men and not animal
And they go and steal it away
at least they could recognize their lie is so tall
If not to give us right to our say

.."And Justice for all" we plead mindlessly
But worse some believe it is true
The wish we could choose what we mean and we say
Is the Justice for me and for you

I refuse to capitulate now in my life
I still have so much to begin
So do not discount the power of youth
Or else your "justice" cannot win.
