Bedtime stories of knights dressed in glory
Ends happily ever after in every story
Teachings of love for material worth
Praising Santa for the son of God's birth
Sandman gets credit for God's gift of rest
As God gets a dutiful prayer at best
The pureness of life that a child holds
Diminishes quickly as the fable unfolds
Stripping the knowledge the children need
To overcome a legacy of self-serving greed
Sour the taste as each generation fails
To rid our youth of poison fairy tales!
