A day on which some event is ÛßÛÛÛßÛÜÛÜßÜannually celebrated. ÛÛÛÜÜÛßÜÛß Ü ÛÛ ßÛ Ü  Ü This month, BAD celebrates its accomplishment of creating and ÛÜÛ Ü ß Ü ßÜÜÜÛpublicly distributing ANSi for one full year. After a year ßÛ ÜßßßÜßÛÛßÛß of hard work, we have remained alive, an achievement in itself, not to mention becoming a group known worldwide for ÛÛÛÛÛÜÛ consistently high- quality artwork. We are extremely proud ÛÛßÛÛß ßof what we have become and are happy to bring you this, our ßÜÜßßÜßÜß  ß Üfirst anniversary pack, expecting to bring you another one a Û Ü ß ß ßÛyear from now. Üß ÜßÜÛ ßÜ ßßÛÛÛThis month has been more than busy. We've been producing out our ass to bring you something that all of BAD is proud of. ÛßÜ In addition to working hard, we also gained two new artists, ßÜ KORG and our old friend Hurricane. KORG came to us in the ÛÛÛÛÜß ß ß  Ü middle of the month with excellent skills and a totally new ÛßÛÜÛÜß ß   Üßlook. I think you'll like what he'll be kicking out. ßßÜßHurricane, as you may remember, left the group last month and ßÜÛÛis now back with us with even more incredible ANSi's than before. Also, due to a confliction (my lack of brain ÜÛÛ ßÜÛß ÜßÜ ßÜ molecules, I think), we didn't include all of Hurricane's ÛÜßÛÜß ÜÜÛß ß ANSi's last month, so get BACK into the holiday spirit with ÛÜßß  ß them. We also have an addition in our literature department ß ßßßÜÜß(okay, okay, he's our first addition - good place to start, Ûß ßÜßßßÜÛÛ'eh?). Fornaxis has joined us, so we hope to be presenting ß Ü ÜßÜÛÛßÛß some of his stuff next month. ÛÛÛÛÛÜÛÛßÜ ß ÜIn other news, we have a couple new headquarters. We welcome ÛÛßÛÜÛß ßÜ ß ÜßCloud Nine BBS as our Australian HQ. Sudden Death of DiE ÜÜÜÜwill help spread our packs all over Australia, so that will Üß ßdefinitely get us some more business. Another is our new ÛÜß Ü ß ß ß ÛÜÛWestern HQ, Channel Zer0. It took us forever to talk Beastie ßÜ ßÜßÜÜßÜßÛÛÛÜÛinto being it, but he finally obliged. ;] Our new Central HQ is Park Central. It's a great board and should help us out a ÛÛÛßÛÛÜßlot. You can always grab BAD's latest packs from our HQ's. ÛÜÛÛßÜß  ßÛÜßÛß ßÜ Now, I'd like to do a little history. Yes, I dived into the ßÜ ßÛÜ ÜßÜ ßßhistory books and will now present you with what's happened  Ü ÜÜßÜÛin BAD this last year. (I've conveniently tabbed it so that ßÜßÛßÜÛÛpeople who don't give a fuck (or may start giving one in a few minutes) can skip it without missing too much.) It's more ÛÛÛßÛÜß ÜÛÜßÛÜßof a member listing and major event thing since having ßÜßßß ÜÛßÜÛßÜß everything in there would make this info file real big... ÜÛÛßßÜÛßlike it's not already. ;] ÜÜßÜ ßÛß ÜÜ Ü Üß ÜßÜßÜþ January ß ßÜßÛß ÜÜßÜÛÛÛBAD jumped into the scene this month. We were presented with our first members, Black Knight, Section 8, ÛÜ ßÜPersecutor, Number Cruncher, and Squirrel. It wasn't a ßÜ Ügreat pack by today's standards, but it showed what BAD could do and gave us a start and a foothold. þ February Retaining the same members, BAD created a pack that was much better than the last month's. We started to see ÛÛÛÛÛÛÜÜßÜ ß Ü Üwhere each person's talent was going and actually were ÛßÛÜÛÜ ß Ü Üproud of what we had created. In addition, this month we ÜÜÜÜ  ß announced how we would merge with CAA and become DESPAiR. ÛÛÜßßÜÛÜOf course, it eventually flopped, but it showed how the ÛÛÛÜßÜ Ü ßÜ ßÜßÛinterest in BAD had grown over just one month. We also ÛÜßÜ Ü ß Ü ÛÛÛßpresented our first loaders, showing that we also had talent in coding and music. ÛÛÛßÛÜß ÜÛÜßÛÜß ßÜßßß ÜÛßÜÛßÜßþ April ÜÛÛßßÜÛß ÜÜßÜ ßÛßAfter skipping a pack for March due to absolutely no ÜÜ Ü Üß ÜßÜßÜANSi, we prolonged the release of the pack to April. ß ßÜßÛß ÜÜßÜÛÛÛThis pack was the first pack where we had a considerable amount of large ANSi's with pictures. Squirrel and ÛÛÛßÜÛÜßÜßß ÜÜSection 8's LAB ANSi dominated the pack with the first of ßÛÜßÛßßÜ ß Ümany amazing ANSi's from the group. The ANSi from the Û Ü   Ü ßduo didn't impress only BAD, however...  Ü Üß ßÜ ÜÛ Ü Ü ßÛÜÛßÛþ June ß Ü ßÛÜÛÛß ÛÜÛÛ This was definitely the lowest of the lows that BAD had ÛÛÛßÛÛÜßever achieved. After a month of losing the majority of ÛÜÛÛßÜß our members, Black Knight and Number Cruncher were the ßÛÜßÛß ßÜ only active members left in the group. Squirrel and ßÜ ßÛÜ ÜßÜ ßßSection 8 had been recruited to iCE where they continued  Ü ÜÜßÜÛtheir high-quality ANSi creations. Persecutor, who had ßÜßÛßÜÛÛfallen off a cliff as far as we knew, also had nothing for the pack. However, the ANSi's that were displayed in the pack were definitely much better than the majority of ANSi's that BAD had displayed before. þ July ÛÛÛÛßÛÜß ÜÛÛß ß ßÛÛÜßß ÜÜÛÛÜ ßÜThis month, BAD displayed what we were proud to display. ÛßÜßß Ü Although the group still consisted of just Number ÛÜ Ü Ü ßCruncher and Black Knight, we displayed our skills at a Ü Ü Üß Ü Ü ÜÛloader that was high above what we had done in February. ßÜ ÜßÛÜßÛÛÛßÜÛÛß þ August ÛÛÛßÛÜÛßÛÛßÛ ßÛÜßßÛÜßÛÜÛÜThis was the month where everything happened. After our Û Ü Û Ü ÛßÜßlast pack, we had a mass of people come up to us and we  ß ßß ÜÜ ßmore than quadrupled our membership. We gained back Ü ÜÛß ßÛ ßÜÛSection 8 and Squirrel, our merge with EViL brought us  ÜÜÛÛÛÜÛßÛÛÛColor Blind, Sir Psycho Sexy and LiQUiD, our merge with SoLo brought us Zodiac, and we also gained Basehead, our ÛÛÛßÜÛÜßÜßß ÜÜfirst musician. Also during this month, we almost went ßÛÜßÛßßÜ ß Üthrough with merging with CHAOS-CT, creating the new Û Ü      Ü ßgroup Assault. That fell through, however.  Ü Üß ßÜ ÜÛ Ü Ü ßÛÜÛßÛþ September ß Ü ßÛÜÛÛß ÛÜÛÛ The pack wasn't as great as the previous month and was ÛÛÛßÛÛÜßpretty boring. ÛÜÛÛßÜß  ßÛÜßÛß ßÜ þ October ßÜ ßÛÜ ÜßÜ ßß  Ü ÜÜßÜÛThis month, BAD finally produced its viewer that it had ßÜßÛßÜÛÛbeen promising since January. The pack was a step above the last month, but wasn't all that special. ÜÛÛÛÛÛÛÛÛßÛß Ü Ü ÛÛÛßÜßÛßÜÜß ß ßþ November ÛßÜÜÜÜÜÜ ßÜ ß ßßÜ ÛßÜßßÜ ßThe gaining of members at BAD for the month of November ßÜ ß ß Ü ß ÜßÛÛwas quite nice. We recruited Mr. Sinister, RaVe, and ßÜ Ü ÛÜßÛÛÛßÛÛßDreadnought, all showing great productions in the pack. The pack went up in size because of the newly created VGA ÛÛÛßÛÜß ÜÛÜßÛÜßdepartment. ßÜßßß ÜÛßÜÛßÜß ÜÛÛßßÜÛßþ December ÜÜßÜ ßÛß ÜÜ Ü Üß ÜßÜßÜWe gained some more members this month, Hurricane, 3-D, ß ßÜßÛß ÜÜßÜÛÛÛand Village Idiot. However, at the end of the month, we had lost as many as we had gained, Mr. Sinister, Hurricane, and Village Idiot. The pack was rather small, but the quality of it was one of the highest in BAD history. And that brings us to the present. I've already introduced our new members for this month, and I'm sure that people are beginning to think that this is worse than a PD documentation file, but we're almost done. After looking through the pack, I'll expect more than one person to exclaim, "What the hell!?!" Yes, we have a vast array of zombie's this month, due to this being (for BAD, at least) OFFICIAL ZOMBIE MONTH. Thanks to me for starting the trend, we now have more than six zombies in the pack - more than any pack should have! I'm sure there will be some stragglers into next month, too, so don't hold your breath. ;] BAD has decided that we will no longer be accepting Distribution Sites. We don't have the couriers to do so. We will keep our eyes out for great boards, but I don't want any applications sent to the WHQ anymore - a reason why the new application generator doesn't have that option anymore. If you like what you see in the pack and your ability comes close to matching that of the rest of the group, we'd like to invite you to apply to the group. Go ahead, it won't cost you anything to at least try it. I'd like to personally say that this is the best of BAD - deserving of an anniversary pack. We have all of our original members back in BAD with the addition of several others, all of whom have increased their skills considerably. I thought it was important to come out with something that showed how important it was, so I pushed everyone to do a lot of great stuff, and it obviously shows. After seeing several huge, but unimpressive anniversary packs, I thought to start a new trend and actually come out with a nice looking anniversary pack. I think you'll be impressed by what BAD has become, I think you'll be excited by what may happen to us, and I also hope that you cry... uh... huh huh... Anyway, enough of that shit.
