I don't want to  spend too much time talking about the newsletter itself,but  I'll just quickly note that this newsletter will have some organi zationrather than being one long essay. Well, that's the intr oduction, on to the realthing...ùÄÄÄ  If you need to contact a specific artist about a piece of wor k for yoursystem and don't know where to find that artist,  simply contact the artistor myself (ShadowSorcerer) on a ny Empire Distribution Center or large ArtBoard, and eit her the artist or myself will help you out. If you need to make a request, simply post your information on any Empire Ce nter's ArtRequest Base. It's there just for you, and your  request. ùÄÄÄ If you are interested in joining Empire, y ou may take the above steps tosuccess, and fill out an applicat ion with the Empire Application Generator,included in the lates t Empire Compilation, and send it to an Empire Center.For faste r results, send it to an Empire Capitol, preferably the Courier or World Capitols, and be sure to leave me (ShadowSorcerer) a note to  let meknow you're interested. Empire is looking for good VGA  artists and coders,as well as good musicians and literary writ ers. ANSi artists are needed aswell, but are not in great dem and. Couriers are needed most, if you canhelp out, please don 't hesitate to send your application. If you want to bea Distri bution Center, you may apply, but your time is limited. ùÄÄÄ Empire is not a strong competition group.  We have alot of pride, but nogreat need to compete. We do this  for fun and fun only. If you are a memberof a group by the sam e policy, and wish to team up with members from Empireon a coop erative effort, we are open to suggestions. If you're too into the competitive aspect of the scene, well that's cool, we don't need you . Hell,this IS for fun.. ùÄÄÄ Empire may start drawing ANSi that uses su ch enhancement tools as iCE's new iCEColor. If we do, we will also include the utility to view th e work with, and it will be seperated from the rest of the normal art. If y ou are a member of a group such as iCE and your group opposes it's utility 's use in our Compilations, please contact me and make sure I know not to i nclude your tool. We may also start drawing RIP screens, these screens wil l also be included, segregated from other work as well. ùÄÄÄ Empire has several projects and ideas bei ng tossed around. Some ideasinclude an Empire Demo, EMPiRENet , Premier Magazine, and many other suchideas which will take  much more of our time, such as a game. I will proceedto detail  these ideas as they become implemented and begin to get worked on as true projects. Two such examples are EMPiRENet and Premier Ma gazine,which I will detail fully below. ùÄÄÄ EMPiRENet will be Empire's answer to lack  of communication between sysopand artist. Using EMPiRENet, you  can request an ansi from your closest Netaffiliated board. Mos t Empire Centers should be carrying this by the end ofNovember  depending on schedule changes and other small factors. EMPiRENet is also to include many other nets so as to mimic many other nets  in it'sfunction, and to keep it popular. We will be accepting  applicants who arenot Empire Centers and are interested in b ecoming a Net Site sometime inlate November or early December , depending on when the current Centers areset up. Stay tuned f or more information concerning this issue. ùÄÄÄ Premier Magazine will showcase the talent  of the next generation of theart world. We hope to get suppor t and publicity from groups such as iMAGE,BAD, MAX, and every o ther group who can benefit from such a magazine. Thereis curren tly no release date set for this magazine, but an early release secondary magazine using an ANSi interface may be made available a s earlyas December. Premier will use a low-resolution VGA inte rface, and lots ofsmaller features to enhance attractiveness s uch as little demo effects anda slough of awesome MODs. We  are also looking into the possibility ofimplementing a hi-r esolution (640x480x256) interface, but may be forced tosave thi s feature for the second issue. We are now looking for writers, artists, groups, and coders to participate in the effort, but we  do notwish to involve any sites or couriers at this time. If  you're interested,get ahold of me any way you know how. ùÄÄÄ Empire has a policy of advise.
