                              The Legacy - Issue 1

Havoc speaks:
    Aaah... We finally did it. Yes, Legacy finally released a collection of
its' art (Don't clap). After what seemed to be years of arguing over the name
of it, we decided to go with "The Legacy" which I believed was suggested by
Tempus Thales. Now, I wanted to call it "Legacy Compendium" seeing as MiRAGE
is gone, but it would have "offended" too many people, I was told. I don't know
how the hell that could offend anybody, but that's not important right now.
    Seeing as this is the first collection, I guess it's only fitting that I
should explain the history of the group. Hmmm... Let's see if I remember this
correctly (Stop me if I'm doing this wrong). A while ago, (Somewhere in early
October) two men had a dream. Black Ire and Metal Head disbanded from MiRAGE
and formed Legacy (cool name). After aquiring some new, but great, artists
this group was well on it's way. But, a short while later, (early November) I
called Shangri-La for no appearent reason. When I called back, Black Ire had
left me his voice number, and told me to call him. I did so, and we talked.
(NOTE: At this time, I was the pres. of a smaller, less-known group: iMAGE)
After talking, I said (for no appearent reason) "Are you guys ever going to
merge with anybody?" Black Ire replied "No." A long pause fell upon them.
Black Ire spoke again "Why? You interested?" The rest is what we might call,
history. iMAGE merged with Legacy (and took the Legacy name, duh) Since then,
Legacy has been (in our opinion) kicking ass. We have been getting some
great artists and are constantly recruiting new talent to this fast-growing
group. Now there is no doubt, Legacy is in the "Big Three".
   The art in this collection is a bunch of great releases by Legacy. Some are
recent, while others are older. I won't say how good it all is, you can all
judge that for yourself. Every month, we plan to increase in quantity and
quality. It will probably be hard, but we'll try our best. Oh, well, if you
have any requests, call one of the HQ's and give us the info. (Requests in
which an artist gets something out of it (such as money) always gets you an
ansi quicker) Well, I can't believe I rambled on for this long...
   I'll go now...
