 Explosions of light rocked the stellar sky,
 And then they siesed to exist.
 To light it again, many men would try,
 But the universe seemed to resist.

 The universe was deathly quiet,
 No life form would move or speak.
 Not a single cell would defy it,
 The life forms were simply too weak.

 Never again would light be blinding,
 To reveal their powerlessness.
 The contract to which all was binding,
 Was now of INFiNiTE DARKNESS.
