Silicon Wasteland

It's where mind and machine combine;
Where imagination and reality fuse.
For between the two there is no line,
In this realm of real and muse.

The screen is the reality of this place,
And shifts at one's merest act.
And all you see before your face,
May be fiction, yet also fact.

But, here life does not abound,
Or show its intricate guise.
Not an animal may be found,
In this virtual Paradise.

Creatures, many, here do roam,
 yet you, soon, will find
Only one occurs in nature;
 in this wasteland of the mind.
